 Basic Computer Skills
:
Basic computer skills are necessary to progress normally through online courses. It is not necessary to be an expert, but a student should know how to use a mouse and keyboard, launch a browser, get online and to the Internet, send and receive email. Helpdesk support is provided for all courses from  our
content  providers.

 Pop up Blocker

A pop up blocker is a type of software that improves browser performance and usability by suppressing the download and display of banner ads, JavaScript prompts, or popup windows. Depending on the popup blocker and its settings, it may stop legitimate windows, including class.com’s CD prompt, from launching.

Many programs have flexible settings, and some even have the ability to exempt popup windows from particular sites. The first troubleshooting step is to try and exempt the course server within the popup blocker. If that’s not possible, disable the application while you’re working in the courses. If it becomes enough of a problem with enough sites, consider installing the popup blocker and trying another version that’s more flexible.
